Logistics​

Here are some logistics for the summer.

Communication​

We will be using the following communication tools:

  • Zoom Phone / Chat
  • Outlook

Daily Hours​

You will be expected to be in the office from 9AM to 4PM. This is not a strict requirement, but it is important to be here for the daily standup meeting and to be available to help with tasks. If there are any issues with your schedule, please let me know as soon as possible so we can work something out. This can include things like:

  • You have a doctor's appointment
  • You have a sick day
  • You need to leave early for personal reasons etc...

Lunch Breaks​

You are entitled to a lunch break that can be taken at any time during the middle of the day that lasts for 30-45 minutes. Please let me know when you will be taking your lunch break so we may know about each other's availability.

Daily Meetings​

Everyday you are in, we will have a daily standup meeting at 9AM to go over the day's tasks and progress. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get help with your tasks.

Zoom meetings will be the main way we communicate during the daily standup meeting.

Access​

IT Office​

You will have access to the IT office with your ID card. Please make sure to bring your ID card with you every day, since you are expected to tap in and out of the building with your ID card- the same way you would during a regular school day.

IDFs​

You will soon have access to the IDFs in the building with the DEF (and the D key if needed) once you begin the summer.

IDFs are located at:

  • B08 (Fitness Center)
  • 212B (Head End Room in IT Office)
  • 303A
  • 403A
  • Roof IDF
